A 10 minute walk on the main road to Kavera Market which has fresh fruit and vegetables, a shop with basic supplies and the Maori cafe and takeaways

Wigmores Super store is a short ride or 30 mins walk to buy a great range of locally produced fresh vegetables and fruit and a wide range of groceries, including alcoholic drinks.

Bus, drive, ride, about 30 mins to the wonderful local Punanga Nui Market on Saturday morning the Thursday night market at Muri, the Sunday and Friday evening markets at the Rarotongan Beach Resort & Spa are a 5 mins walk.

Primefoods Foodmarket is on St Joseph’s Rd (by the Catholic Cathedral) in town. They produce their own bacon, ham salami and fresh gourmet sausages. Also fresh fruit & vegies. PRIMEFOODS.co.ck

The main CITC supermarket is a 20 ride by bus or car and Foodland a smaller foodmarket is right in the town of Avarua, about 30 mins ride.

Fresh fish is sold on the main road at Ocean Fresh Fish Shop in Panama just past the airport on the way to town.

5 mins walk to the Kaena Restaurant and Takeaways next to the Dive Centre

Hiking, Walking and Riding
